Therapy for real life

Progress matters most when it changes everyday life.

What we can help you navigate

Care designed around your world

Why virtual OT?

Your home is where many everyday routines actually happen. Virtual care lets occupational therapy connect directly with the environment, tasks, and habits you want to improve.

  1. 1

    Start with a conversation

Tell us what is getting in the way of daily life and what you would like to be able to do more easily.

  2. 2

    Build a practical plan

Your care plan is based on your goals, routines, environment, and clinical needs.

  3. 3

    Practice where life happens

Sessions focus on strategies you can use between visits, not just exercises that live inside an appointment.

Frequently asked questions

Before your first visit

What is occupational therapy?

Occupational therapy helps people participate more fully in the activities and routines that make up everyday life. Treatment is individualized around functional goals.

How does virtual occupational therapy work?

Visits take place by secure video. Depending on your needs, sessions may include evaluation, guided activities, functional problem-solving, education, home-program strategies, and caregiver or family collaboration.

Do I need special equipment?

Usually not. If specific materials would be useful for your visit, you will be told in advance. One advantage of virtual OT is the ability to work with items and environments already part of your daily life.

Do you accept insurance?

Coverage and payment options may vary. Contact Atlas Living before scheduling so current payment and reimbursement options can be confirmed.
